Kenya has recorded 210 more Covid-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours as the country’s total caseload rises to 38,378.In a press statement on Tuesday, September 29, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe announced that 3,604 samples had been tested over the period bringing the total number of samples tested so far to 545,019.Of the positive cases, all are Kenyans except 10 who are foreigners127 are male and 83 are female while the youngest case is a six-month-old baby and the oldest is aged 91.At the same time, 59 patients were discharged 49 from the home-based care programme and 10 from hospitals around the country bringing the total number of recoveries to 24,740Regrettably, seven patients succumbed to the disease bringing the total number of deaths to 707.In the county distribution, Nairobi leads with 55 cases followed by Kericho 36, Kitui 24, Kiambu 21, Nakuru 19, Mombasa 15, Kisumu 10, Kisii 8, Kilifi 6, Turkana 5, Embu 4, Wajir 2, Machakos 1, Kakamega 1, Kwale 1, Nandi 1 and Kajiado 1.More to follow…
