Arua Hill SC tactician Hussein Mbalangu
Arua Hill Sports Club Head Coach Hussein Mbalangu has much confidence and trust in the team’s new signing Dan “Danucho” Birikwalira.
Left back Birikwalira was on Monday unveiled as the club’s latest acquisition who joined as a free agent on a two-year deal.
After putting pen to dotted lines, Arua Hill tactician Mbalangu heaped praise on the former Vipers Sports Club defender and believes will add more to the team both in defending and attacking.
“Dan’s experience will add more to the team both in defending and attacking,” Mbalangu noted in the club statement before adding,
“His movements going forward and his technique in crossing the ball will give strikers 90% chance to score goals. And I have a feeling his arrival will contribute greatly to us achieving our goal of gaining promotion to the Star Times Uganda Premier League.”
The 24-year old 2018 FUFA Drum tournament winning Captain previously played for Kampala Junior Team, Bright Stars, Kyetume among others.
He will stay at the club until 2022 and has a major task of helping the club gain promotion to the Uganda Premier League next season.
