Uganda Cranes midfielder Allan Kateregga has confirmed leaving with Iraqi side, Erbil Sports Club.
The “Dancing Rasta” took to his official social media platform to bid farewell to his paymasters.
“I wish to take this opportunity to thank the management of Erbil sports club for the opportunity to be part of such a historical club. As my contract comes to an end I wish everyone at the club the best of luck in the future. Shukran Habibi,” Kateregga wrote.
The dread-locked midifielder joined Erbil SC in 2019 after the AFCON tournament in Egypt and played a few games for the club before the league was halted due to the Covid19 pandemic.
He was part of the Cranes fold that was in the Dubai training camp where he sustained a knee injury that ruled him out of Jonathan McKinstry’s squad for the AFCON 2021 qualification double header against South Sudan in November.
Kateregga has previously featured for UPL side, KCCA FC, AFC Leopards (Kenya), alongside Premier Soccer League clubs, Cape Town City FC and Maritzburg United in South Africa.
