KAMPALA- The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda the Most Rev Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu has asked Christians to use their bodies to play football to avoid indecent behaviors in the society.
Archbishop Kazimba made the remarks yesterday afternoon while presiding over Kampala journalists Team game with Diocese of Kampala clergy.
He said that he was delighted to announce that this year, the Diocese of Kampala will be cerebrating golden jubilee with different activities which will climax in August of which sports is part.
Kazimba pointed out that journalists can effectively use football and bodies to fight awkward behaviors like drug abuse, corruption, sexual immorality and HIV/AIDS avoidance.
He lauded journalists for the media evangelism they have accorded the church which he says has been and is still vital in spreading the gospel.
