Cindy Sanyu, a renowned dancehall artist, hopes to hold a concert that will set new records in Uganda’s showbiz before the end of the year.The concert will be her first solo concert since the Boom Party concert in 2020 at Lugogo Cricket Oval before the Covid-19 lockdown.While sharing ideas with some of her followers on a live video, Cindy welcomed ideas that suggested different venues where she would preferably host the concert.In some of the ideas that they shared, the visibly elated Cindy open-heartedly welcomed the idea of hosting a concert at Hamz or Namboole stadium and thereafter organizing a small VIP show at Serena Hotel, a thing she believes is achievable once her fans walk the journey with her.She plans the event to happen towards the end of the year. I really like the idea of first doing like Ham or Namboole then like do a small VIP show at Serena towards the end of the year. I really appreciate and welcome such thoughts. Team cindicates I see you want to break and set new records. We are in the same spirit this year.She, however, notes that she is still going to discuss it with her team and will be revealing the final decision they would have reached.
