The electoral commission will conduct nominations of candidates to contest for 45,127 elective positions at Local Government Councils level countrywide.
The positions include District/City Chairpersons and Councilors, Municipality/City Division Chairpersons and Councilors, and Sub County/Town/Municipal Division Chairpersons and Councilors.
The Councilors include those representing Special Interest Groups, namely, the Youth, Persons with Disabilities and Older Persons.
