Deceased Bugwere cultural leader, Chrysestom Wayabire.
The Bugwere Cultural head, Chrysestom Wayabire, is dead.
Wayabire passed on yesterday February 6, 2021 and is said to have succumbed to COVID-19.
Born in 1957 in Kenkebu Sub-county, present-day Kibuku District, he becomes the third cultural leader to succumb to covid-19.
Bishop Wayabire, was once the head of the Revival and Salvation Apostolic Ministries in East and Central Africa and the head of Ikumbania Bwa Bugwere, the Bagwere Cultural Institution.
Other cultural leaders who lost the battle to Covid-19 are; Umukuka Bob Mushikori of Bugisu who died on January 14th and the King of Sebei who passed on a few days later on the 19th of the same month.
