Anthony Kelari, a Professor at Makerere University has been found dead at his home in Kololo, Kampala on Thursday afternoon.
According to reports, the deceased met with his friends in Kampala on Wednesday and briefly had a chat before he went to sleep at his house.
Shockingly he was found dead.
“We have lost a neighbour, Prof. Anthony Kelari. He collapsed and died at his residence on Plot 1 Prince Charles Drive Kololo, Kampala,” a message confirming his death has been circulating on social media.
Circumstances that resulted into his demise remain unknown as many believe he could have died shortly after reaching home.
“It is believed that most likely he could have died last night although it was found out this afternoon,” a message adds.
Prof. Anthony Kelari was an extremely smart Professor.
He single handedly started the department of Construction Management at Makerere University and has been running the largest programs in the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology.
