Next Radio host Marcus Kwikiriza will leave the talk show, “Morning Zoo,” Chimp Corps report.
Marcus, who started his radio career back in 1998 at Sanyu FM straight out of high school, will have his last radio show on Friday, February 18.
““It is true, I am leaving the Morning Zoo,” Kwikiriza told ChimpReports this Thursday evening.
“Tomorrow, I will have my last show,” he added.
The development comes amid rumours that Kwikiriza is set to replace outgoing Vision Group boss, Robert Kabushenga.
This website understands Marcus was among those shortlisted for the job.
Other contenders for the fatty job include seasoned editor Hellen Mukiibi.

In 2016, Marcus told Scoop he was the second last of five children. He was born to Frank and Joy Karake who are both hoteliers.
He went to Ganjoni Primary school in Mombasa, Kampala Parents School where he finished his PLE, Namasagali from S1-S6 and finally Bangalore University in India where he completed his Bachelors in Mass Communication.

He worked at Sanyu FM (Friday night and Saturday night show) and then Radio One (Mid-morning show).
In Rwanda he worked with Radio 10, Flash FM (Programme director) and in Kenya, he worked at Capital Radio (Drive Show), Classic FM (Drive show) and Nation FM/Easy FM (Breakfast show).
Besides radio, Marcus has other businesses he is engaged in like ‘Blackstar Events’ an events management company.
“We have managed many projects the biggest being the ‘Tubonga Naawe’ which we did for three months all over the country. We now have the ‘Imara African Coffee’ project, my new baby that I am very excited about. I could talk about that for hours. May be we shall have another chat just about coffee and then, I’m the Johnnie Walker (JW) mentorship brand ambassador,” he said.
