The spending spree at regional League entity Soroti Thunders Football Club is continuing day after day with the latest arrival coming in the form of striker Jacob Kato.
Kato joins the North Eastern based club as a free agent, signing a two year deal.
Last 2019/2020 season, he played for rivals Soroti Football Club and will now don shirt number 11 at his new club.
He joins the already captured reinforcements in winger Perez Waiswa, left back Emmanuel Galis Mawa and forward Abdallah Mwazinga Yiga.
Meanwhile, the club is reportedly in advanced talks with Uganda Martyrs SS’ Ivan Kabila Wecce and Gulu United holding midfielder David Oringa.
Also, striker Robert Rialto Obaloker from Flyers and left back Junior Paul Etweu of Star Light SS are other players reported to have finalized talks with the big spenders.
Next season, the club owned by a passionate football enthuisat Samuel Peace Otati will host it’s home games at Soroti Sports playground.
