Sad news coming through comfirms the untimely death of former Kampala Lord Mayor Alhaj Nasser Ntege Sebaggala aka Seya.
A fortnight back, it was reported how the ever flamboyant politician accidentally slipped through and fell in his bathroom at his home in Munyonyo while taking a shower an incident that has in turn left him unconscious.
He was rushed at a breakneck speed and admitted at Kampala International Hospital (IHK) in a very critical condition. Since then, he has been fighting for his life until today Saturday morning that he pronounced dead.
At IHK Seeya was diagnosed with intussusception; a condition in which one segment of intestine inverts within another, causing an intestinal obstruction (blockage). He was subsequently subjected to an emergency surgery which was successfully performed by Dr. Kiyingi.
He however did not recover well, a few days ago he put on oxygen but it couldn’t save his life!
