Recently, Big Muzik Entertainment boss Ibrahim Mayanja alias Big Eye revealed his intentions for vying for the Nansana Municipality MP seat in the 2026-2031 general elections.In this race, Big Eye is set to face the incumbent Hon. Hannington Wakayima Musoke and news anchor Zambali Bulasio Mukasa with whom they will lock horns for the NUP party ticket.While weighing in on Big Eye Starboss’ revelation, veteran comedian Amooti Omubalanguzi opened up about what stopped him from contesting for the same political office in the last general election.Amooti explained that by the time he showed interest in running for the post, he found when NUP had already given out the party ticket to someone else.He, therefore, contemplated using a ‘Mushroom’ as his symbol but figured it wouldn’t work for him thus opting to stay out of the race.If Big Eye is serious about vying for Nansana Municipality MP seat, let him come and when he is elected I think he will be in position help solve some of the challenges we are facing.
