Exiled founding father of the National Unity, Reconciliation and Development Party Moses Nkonge Kibalama has finally met the reigning principal Hon. Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine of the party he initiated in 2005.

Kibalama had fled incognito from Ugandan territory citing threats and fears from NRM government officials who were pestering him to reclaim the leadership of the NURP which morphed to the National Unity Platform party after the 2020 MoU was signed between him and the People Power movement.
Gideon Tugume, a former NTV journalist was deployed as the spokesperson of the defacto NUP that was housed in Rubaga division where parallel head offices were established.
Fearing for his life as he kept receiving phone calls from government officials, Kibalama ran to exile whilst pressure that was mounting.
After a while of silence, Kibalama has turned out to be quietly staying in neighboring Kenya where he leads a low profile life.
