Former Bukedde Television host Mary Flavia Namulidwa has reportedly returned to Uganda after spending nearly five years in the United States. During her time abroad, Namulidwa engaged in casual jobs, running a YouTube channel and expanding her family there. According to Bukedde Television and his friend Kasuku, Flavia is back with political ambitions, aiming to contest for the Gomba East Constituency parliamentary seat in Gomba District. Reports suggest she plans to run on the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket.Namulidwa is well-regarded within NUP circles and is known to be a close associate of Bobi Wine, the party’s leader.Flavia Namulidwa rose to fame through the popular Oluyimba Lwo program, which she hosted on Bukedde Television for several years, earning her a dedicated fan base.
