Speculations of the demise of the younger brother to president Museveni, a one Gen. Salim Saleh have created a storm on the internet.

For quite a while, Gen. Salim Saleh has never made any public appearance, a thing that has attracted keen attention from netizens. Saleh was even expected to show up at the burial of ex security Minister Gen. Elly Tumwiine, his fellow bush war comrade, but it was never the case.
His inability to show up at Tumwiine’s funeral and send off has already widened speculations that he could be somewhere battling for his life.
It has now become a trend for government to conceal the health state of its top brass members, fearing to draw an influx of jubilations from those opposed to the leadership of Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who has held grip on the top seat since 1986.
A tabloid has today reported similar speculations indicating that the 5 star general is locked in his residence, but a credible source confided in us that Saleh was secretly airlifted out of the country for specialized treatment somewhere in a European country, he refrained from mentioning in fear of reprisals.
It is not the first time Gen. Saleh is being speculated to be dead. Earlier this very year, similar reports enveloped social media prompting him to come out and dispel the acclaims. However, this time round he has not made any response in that regard, on top of failing to show up for Tumwiine’s burial.
