Engineer Francis Ngabirano says he has come to change the face of Kyadondo East Constituency.
The architectural engineer has set his eyes on Kyadondo East seat come 2021 general elections.
He will be running as an independent in the race to replace National Unity Platform leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.
Bobi Wine who wrestled the seat from four challengers back in 2017, later in August 2019, bid voters farewell saying he would run for president of Uganda instead.
This is where Eng Ngabirano cuts in with his 15-point programme manifesto.
He plans to strengthen surveillance against child labour, abuse and denial of education; promote increased access to quality and affordable services; advocate for investment in youth livelihood programmes, promote youth participation in decision making and the plight of marginalised groups like women and PWDs.
He also aims to strengthen accountability, create jobs for youth and eliminate social discrimination, health, hygiene and sanitation.
“As MP, I will contribute 50% of my salary to the development of our constituency,” Eng Ngabirano said.
His target is construction of infrastructure, religious institutions, orphanages, education and sports as well as the music industry.
Kyadondo East is comprised of Kasangati Town council and Nangabo sucounty with parishes like Kiteezi, Lusanja, Katadde, Masooli, Bulamu, and Jokolera.
