Pastor Mondo is currently on the run and out of the country. He sneaked out after allegedly learning of a plot to arrest him on charges of fraud.
Last week, Buganda Road Chief Magistrate’s Court ordered for his arrest on allegations of fleecing worshipers of more than Shs4.5b in bogus scholarship programmes.
In an online virtual engagement with one blogger, Mondo described the orders to imprison him as mere witch-hunt.
He links his woes to Bobi Wine, the NUP leader, saying that some people in the State were not pleased when Bobi Wine mentioned him as one his mentors during Pr Yiga’s funeral. Despite ‘mentoring’ Bobi, Mondo always projects that he supports Museveni and his government.
