Renowned photographer and visual artist Karl Shakur is in Uganda for three days to share knowledge on visual storytelling and media innovation with Ugandan creatives.Via his socials, Karl Shakur has been announcing his visit ahead of the forthcoming masterclass set for Wedenesday at the Media Challenge Initiative.He revealed that he will also use his time in Uganda to visit his mother.“Headed to Uganda from February 3rd to 5th to visit my mum and link up with the creative community. I’m hosting a talk at The Media Challenge Ug in Kampala, diving into visual storytelling, media innovation, and how to carve out a space for yourself as a creator,” he wrote via Instagram.Karl Shakur is an adventure photographer and visual artist based in Kansas.
