Theatre drama actress Mariam Bukenya, known by the stage name Ketra, has distanced herself from rumors alleging she was involved in a romantic affair with the Ebonies boss, Mr. Katende. The allegations came to light following her recent burst up when she called out the organisers of The Ebonies’ 47th-anniversary celebrations of snubbing her from taking part in the play that took place at Kampala Serena Hotel a few weeks back.Ketra, who has been part of the Ebonies for nearly 20 years was left unhappy when she was not recognised at the anniversary celebrations.She used the opportunity to declare that she is available to anyone willing to give her a role in any movie or stage play as long as they reached a mutual agreement.She also cleared the air about reports claiming that she resigned maintaining that if it is Mr. Katende still the head of the Ebonies, she is still a member of the group but if it emerges that someone else is the boss, she is ready to leave.At the moment, Ketra is in the final stages of releasing her latest movie series titled “8 Years in the Shadow of Love” which will be premiered soon.
