Singer Mansur Ssemanda a.k.a King Saha has pleaded with the National Unity Platform (NUP) committee to entrust council Elias Luyimbazi Nalukoola with the party ticket in the Kawempe-North MP by-election.This follows his eloquent manner in which Nalukoola answered questions during the aspirants’ debate that was organised by the party at its headquarters in Makerere-Kavule.His impressive response to questions earned him admiration among different individuals and his fellow competitors who were vying for the party ticket including his believed tight contestant Umar Magala. King Saha has since also added his voice to the many NUP supporters who want to see Council Nalukoola replace the late Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya who breathed his last in January after a long ailmentI request the NUP committee to award the party ticket to Council Elias Luyimbazi Nalukoola for the Kawempe-North MP By-election.
He is a very calm and composed person who knows what to do when he is sent to parliament.
He is aggressive and vocal in his unique style and I believe he is the right person to represent our party in the parliament.Council Nalukoola urged NUP leadership to honor the late Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya’s legacy by funding the health centre he had established to help the people of Kawempe.
