Gerald Ndikumukiza, 28
The Chief Magistrate’s Court in Kisoro on Monday remanded 28-year-old man Gerald Ndikumkiza to jail for allegedly killing four of his family members.
Magistrate Rapheal Vueni heard that on 24th September 2020, Ndikumkiza, while at Kageyo village in Nyarubuye Sub county, murdered four people including his wife Maserina Mujawimana, 26, his father Sebitama Deogratious, his mother Nyiraguhirwa Bonconsira and his sister in law Nyiramahoro Joan.
He allegedly hacked the four to death using a machete, following a misunderstanding over family land.
