Controversial city lawyer, Male Mabirizi Kiwanuka has struck back with a petition challenging what he termed as derogatory remarks in a press release issued by the secretary general of the East African Community, Ambassador Liberat Mifumkeko in which he was being urged not to use the EACJ emblem in his money scheming campaigns.

A distressed Mabirizi says he was not accorded a fair hearing contrary to the natural laws of justice. He says he only saw the derogatory document making rounds on social media platforms. Mabirizi now wants the EAC to apologize to him and award him for the damages and costs he faced due to the statement.
In his petition, Mabirizi states, “The statement wilfully and, or recklessly exposed the applicant to the risk of arrest, detention, restriction to his liberty, forced disappearance, judicial harassment, mob justice, citizen arrest, violence and other adverse actions by agencies of the Partner State of Uganda and actors, including vigilantes.”
The city lawyer now wants to be rewarded for the impact he suffered after the released of the document dated September, 16. He also wants the East African Community secretariat to publish an apology for the damages they caused on him
