Microsoft directed me to this video – We'd appreciate Windows.
Also, the console doesn't function as demonstrated – more configuration is required. FAIL – VS Code must have changed? Is this video obsolete?
Love you man
Your video was simple and cute
Im trying to find out the best way to start VScode for beginners
But im not getting the output while im pressing F5 key. Some popup is coming "Select Dugger"
Unfortunately, his sample does not work at all for me. Debugging does not work.
nah i did not got it
While I love the idea of this video, my screens did not look like your by default. I did have the explorer and activity and status bar as described, but by default, I did not have the panel with Ouput, Debug Problems and Terminal. When I hit F5 on the jsSample.js file, it did not run in the debug console as expected, instead it comes up with a Welcome tabbed window with Get Started with VS Code. So either this video needs some updating to a current version or the presenter has extensions installed that are not present in a new installation.
Wow! This was almost completely useless!
for some reason when i press f5 nothing happens- i was given a selection of different things to run it thru and i selected the first option and now whenever i press f5 it just starts up VS in another window. like i have my workstation open and then another instance of VS starts up. nothing shows up under output/debug console
does imgui works with vcs?
Which extensions should I install to run my js code?
I did exactly as shown In video but it ain't running!!
Well, bro! But does Intellisense =AI?
I can't debug it
I didnt put the " " adn it said its a CoffeeScript. 😂
it doesnt run the code when i press f5. It asks for a debugger, node, somthing i dont understand how you just skip this.
Thank you so much! Visual Studio Code is awesome!
I was wondering what is this theme starting with "nig…"
thank you so much
2:20 you lost me, when I type the parenthesis doesnt automatically copy itself to the next line, it doesnt automatically add quotation marks it doesnt auto complete and it doesnt detetect as javascript infact it calls it Coffeescript. So 2:20 was at all it took for you to just assume the user is having the same experience as you, which is false. This isnt really a tutorial I'd recommend anyone follow, because you don't explain what your doing, but rather just an example of how the program works.
can you make tutorial how to install imgui with visual studio code
When he starts writing in intellisense i didn't get that on my program
Well presented preview.
There was no visual studio code example. There was python, Java, and HTML. Who are you fucking with?
Thanks for the video! I really appreciate it. however, there is something I am still trying to figure out – about IntelliSense – how do I choose the suggestions? Which keyboard button implement it?
Thank you!! Incredibly helpful and, as others have said, I was overwhelmed by VS, too, and my tutors never explained it, just expected me to work with it. So this helps a ton!
question which platform are you using
Quick question. How many beginners can code in Java and python without vscode?
this helps me a lot for the very beginning time with vs of mine❤️
basicly VS Code is very simple to use but you got to have someone explain it to you like he did, amazing tuts !
Thanks Bro It was extremely helpful !!!
Can someone please help me, I try and create a new java file but when I create it and begin writing my code it does not give me a "run" option under my class name or the little run triangle in the top right. Some of my files let me run them and some do not. Please help!
How do you work on a script without it actually running. I am creating a reboot script and when I hit run/debug, the script ran and rebooted some servers. Oops, that's only supposed to happen during a change window, lol
Excellent, excellent, excellent! Not a word too many, not a second wasted.
Amazing video. Perfect for beginners
uhhhh ill rather use notepad++
