Uganda Cranes defender Toby Sibbick has signed a two-year deal with Wigan Athletic, joining from Scottish Premiership side Hearts.
The 25-year-old expressed his excitement on social media, saying, āSo excited to start this new chapter at this huge football club. Letās create many memories together. Canāt wait to get started.ā
Sibbick who was born and raised in West London,
Ā began his career at AFC Wimbledon in 2016 and quickly established himself as a regular player.
He made 31 appearances before moving to Barnsley in 2019 and later joining Hearts on loan. After a permanent move to Hearts in 2022, Sibbick became a key player, inspiring the team to notable victories and making 41 appearances in the 2022/23 season.

Sibbick made his international debut for Uganda in March 2023 and has since featured 29 times for Hearts in the 2023/24 season. He joins Wigan Athletic with a wealth of experience in the EFL, Scottish Premiership, and international football.
