Security was tight at Seeta Victory Church when the lead Pastor, Ssalongo Henry Nyanzi wedded his second wife, Priscilla Kanyenyezi.
Pastor Nyanzi wedded Priscilla on Sunday, 3rd July, 2022 at Seeta Victory Church and invited a number of security operatives to guard the place.
Kanyenyezi, who comes from Fort Portal was formerly a choir member at Pr. Nyanzi’s church and later travelled to Dubai where she has been working for a long time.
However, insiders in the church, have revealed to theGrapevine that Pr. Nyanzi was once married and separated from his wife.
“On 28th, February 1988, Pr. Deo Balabyekkubo led Pr. Nyanzi and his ex-wife Robinah Nyanzi, who was 16 years by then, into making their marriage vows. The couple spent 25 years looking for a child and in 2012, when Robinah was 40 years, and was approaching menopause, they were finally blessed with fraternal twins (a boy and girl),” a church insider revealed.

He further disclosed that from the time of giving birth to twins, Pr. Nyanzi’s life changed when he started vibing Kanyenyezi, a choir member which angered the ex-wife.
“After the two separated, Robinah remained in the church claiming she has to enjoy the fruits of her sweat and she cannot allow young girls to start enjoying what she worked for,” the insider added.
After some time, Robinah decided to leave the church because of too much criticism from some church members, she went to take care of her twins.
Andrew Ssenyonga, the former Mukono Municipality LCV chairperson, who was a member on the committee that tried to reconcile the two disclosed that after talks failed, they resolved that the Pastor should give his ex-wife money every week to take care of the twins and educate them.
He disclosed that, “When Pr. Nyanzi separated with his wife, the wife’s family members started to pin him over wasting Robinah’s time and dumping her after using her for over 25 years.”
During the wedding yesterday, Pastor David Mukasa, from Kyengera Victory Church led the newly weds into taking their marriage vows and asked Pr. Nyanzi to forget about his past marriage and whatever it had. He also asked Kanyenyezi not to listen to people’s words because they might influence her negatively and destroy her marriage.
