Muhangi, Stella Atal for Miss Uganda- Canada project – UGNEWS24

Stella AtalThe first ever Miss Uganda-Canada beauty pageant might be the next big thing on our entertainment calendars. Word reaching our desk is that Alex Muhangi’s Comedy Store has already put pen on paper as one of the partners for the beauty pageant slated for next year in June. And alongside Muhangi is celebrated Paris-based fashion designer Stella Atal.Muhangi comfirmed to UGNEWS24 that besides managing the entertainment aspect of the pageant, he will be partnering with the organisers to hold a Canadian comedy and talent tour as a way of promoting Ugandan comedians and musicians in Canada.Atal on the other hand said she will be sponsoring the pageant through offering mentorship workshops for the contestants, as well as designing some of the outfits for the contestants. She will also be one of the judges at the grand finale.Angella Nakayiwa, the Miss Uganda- Canada director, said: “In Muhangi and Atal, we have the key aspects for a pageant to be a success.”Atal has previouslyworked closely with Miss Uganda organisers as well as other beauty pageants including the Miss Africa USA.The two are said to have already signed MoUs with Gisha Production Inc, the mother company of the Miss Uganda-Canada Initiative.Don’t want to miss out on any story?
