A Rwanda Air CRJ 9 aircraft flight number 464 has this morning veered off the runway at Entebbe international Airport.

According to a response from the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority CAA, the incident happened at Entebbe International Airport on 20th April 2022 morning at around 5:31am when the RwandaAir aircraft was landing on the run way Entebbe International airport.
It is said that 20 of the 60 members aboard the flight were guests invited by the Commander of Land Forces Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba ahead of his 48th birthday slated for April 24.
By press time, no injuries were reported but the Civil Aviation Authority attributed the minor incident to the poor weather conditions saying the early morning rains made the tarmac a bit slippery.
