“I had only one vote, these people are holding your victory, demand for it,” says Mr Musisi.
“I cannot make a mistake to go to courts of Law, I appeal to the public court which voted for me. Stand up and fight for our victory,” he added.
Musisi was defeated by the National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer Kiwanuka Koomu to win the firth term as the district political head.
Ignatius Koomu Kiwanuka, the incumbent LC 5 chairperson won the fourth term on NRM ticket after scoring 29,774 votes beating Wasswa Tadeo (Independent) who scored 8,856 votes and William Musisi of NUP who got 8,585 votes.
However, in some sub-counties, Mr Kiwanuka’s votes were more than the numbers of voters according to Mr. Musisi William saying there was rigging.
