State Minister for Minerals, Phiona Nyamutoro, has revealed the romantic and bold gesture that kickstarted her relationship with Eddy Kenzo. Speaking during the #RiotYouth2024 conference at Pastor Kanyanja’s church yesterday, Phiona shared the story of how Kenzo told her he wanted to marry her the very first day they met.Imagine by that time, I wasn’t yet a minister, I wasn’t yet an MP. I don’t know whether he was such a risk-taker that he would just tell somebody he barely knows that he wants to marry them. And confidently, he said he had never asked any woman to marry him. Phiona acknowledged that their union was part of God’s plan and expressed optimism about building their marriage to last forever.Eddy Kenzo and Phiona are now officially engaged and share a son together.
