The Prime Minister of Uganda, Robinah Nabbanja, has been one of the key supporters of Gravity Omutujju’s music career for years. She has frequently hired Gravity to perform at party events she attends, and the rapper enjoys significant popularity in Nabbanja’s home district. However, Nabbanja has now threatened to terminate her working relationship with Gravity Omutujju over concerns about vulgar lyrics in his music, urging him to return to his roots.”I know he does it willingly, but it’s not a good thing. I haven’t spoken to him yet, but I will. I work with him because of his connection with the local population, but if they turn against him, I won’t support him either. He is loved by the people, but he needs to do better,” she explained during an interview with a local television station.Gravity Omutujju, however, maintains that he does not produce vulgar music.
