Songwriter and singer Frank Lion real name Frank Lukyamuzi has revealed his disappointment after he was denied the opportunity to perform at Sheebah Karungi’s concert, despite having written some of her biggest hit songs.Frank, who penned tracks like Enjala and Ninda—both major successes for Sheebah—believes he deserved a moment on stage.He revealed that while his songs played a big role in drawing crowds to the concert, he was not even allowed entry to witness fans enjoying his work.These songs made people attend her concert, but I wasn’t even allowed to see people enjoy the songs I wrote. One of the people you can invite to your show is the writer, but I wasn’t let in. The songwriter further pointed out the lack of recognition that many songwriters face in the music industry. He said that while artists perform the songs, the creative minds behind the lyrics and melodies often go unnoticed.
