That is simply a plan(B) between besigye and m7. This is no different from what took place in 1979, when nyerere, obote, m7, etc having seen that the late prof Yusuf kironde Lule, had all the support in Uganda, and more so, in buganda region,where the liberation war of UNLF, was to be conducted.
The liberation war against Amin, in 1979, was to start with ,had to go through buganda region before the took over power in Kampala!! All the areas they had to go through, were buganda region areas from tanzania border at mutukula, kyotera, masaka, up to kampala itself!!
Having analyzed that they wouldn't win the support of buganda region to conduct their war against Amin, in their areas, they hatched up a cunning plan, where by they sold prof lule, to Ugandans, and baganda in particular that their son, was the one to be the president after Amin!
This worked well, all the baganda supported the removal of Amin! But behind their cunning minds , they knew that they were simply using him ( lule) to only take power from Amin! And indeed in just two (2) months, 65 days they conducted a coup against him, and the rest now is history!!
Now once again this is what they are trying to do, almost 40 years,since they exactly did that unhonest bargain, between the people of uganda and them selves who were only about spearheading their own selfish interests, than really liberating the nation.
They are telling the people that Bobi wine, even if he wins the election, m7,will not allow him to be president, because he knows that Bobi, as a president, might refuse to protect all their riches,which they know that most of it,has not been acquired honestly!
That's why directly and indirectly they seem to allow besigye, to publically,without even being cautioned of what he means, with regards with plan B!
It's because when times ever come, they will easily cunningly allow him to take power through his plan B, indirectly granting him right to protect their " riches"!
This will continue to allow the existence of another type of musevenism, but being conducted with his close people ,either in nrm,fdc,ant,or other parties, other than NUP/PP of Robert kyagulanyi/ Bobi Wine!!
Ugandans should be very watchful of this new game being hatched up after the election, which seems to be inclined to bring besigye, other than Bobi Wine, because m7 is not comfortable with people power movement/ NUP to protect what he and his people have amassed since 1986!!
People should go back and try to read the ….Sunday monitor of 23/8/20 , where one commentator wrote about besigye, s plan B!
So l think people should only support people power/ Nup/Bobi, as the true peaceful liberators, from nrm rule,using the baloot/ election!! And even though Bobi wine, is currently about plan A/ which is about the election, he still has entire country's support to call them for peaceful demonstrations, if elections are rigged! Let these past actors,who have been around with m7, ever since he has been around, retire in peace, and have a break !
Besigye is the only hope for a better Uganda.
