Free spending Regional League side Soroti Thunders Football Club has invaded the transfer market yet again, this time, trapping winger Perez Waiswa.
Waiswa joins the North Eastern region outfit on a two-year contract, becoming the team’s third signing of the transfer window.
The versatile winger joins Soroti Thunders from Buganda regional outfit Kiwanga United Football Club.
“Welcome Waiswa Perez. He penned down a two year contract with @FcSorotiThunder. He last season featured for Kiwanga Utd on both the left and the right wing,” the club tweeted.
Earlier on this month, Soroti Thunders also secured the services of left back Emmanuel Galis Mawa and striker Abdallah Mwazinga Yiga who both committed their future at the club for two years.
Christened “The Brave”, Soroti Thunders are reportedly in advanced talks with Ivan Kabila Wecce who turns out for Uganda Martyrs Secondary School.
Also, Gulu United holding midfielder David Oringa, striker Robert Rialto Obaloker from Flyers and Star Light SS left back Junior Paul Etweu are the other players on the club’s radar.
