Young Lady Remanded over Bushenyi Radio Presenter’s Murder

Loyce Tihainomwangire, charged with murdering a Bushenyi Based Radio Presenter who was also her lover, has been remanded to Nyamushekyera government Prison.
Tihainomwangire on Thursday 18th February appeared before Grade One magistrate John Paul Osauro at Bushenyi Chief Magistrates’ court.
Tihainomwangire was charged with the murder of Allan Mandela who was her Fiancé by the time of the incident.
Prosecution led by Sylus Bwambale told the court that on 12th February 2021 Tihainomwagire while in Kitwe, Rwentuha Town Council Bushenyi district allegedly killed Allan Mandela who was a sports presenter at Hunter FM.
Bwambale told the court that investigations were still ongoing and prosecution was not yet ready to proceed with the case.
His Worship Osauro, did not allow the accused to say anything because her case is of a capital in nature and can only be tried by the High court.
He remanded Tihainomwangire until 19th March 2021 when she will appear for mention of her case.
Loyce Tihainomwangire, a receptionist at Bushenyi based B FM radio was a longtime lover of the deceased Allan Mandela. She was arrested by police from the house of deceased after she called Police for rescue her from the mob who wanted to lynch her.
Tihainomwangire has since been in Police custody at Bushenyi Central Police Station.
