One of Mityana’s amateurish politicians, Abraham Luzzi who had earned himself a name in launching routine attacks on incumbent MP, Zaake Francis Butebi has officially dumped the NRM party and defected to Mao’s DP.

Luzzi who a couple of weeks back declined to concede defeat says he cannot rest when the party is deploying weaklings that cannot take on the NUP strongman, Zaake Francis Butebi. In today’s morning media appearance on STV, a humbled Luzzi denied all the documented insults he earlier pelted at Zaake when he was facing torture for flouting COVID-19. It is on record like we reported in April this year that Luzzi overtly jubilated the arrest and terror meted out on his opponent, Zaake and even in a Facebook post prayed to his ‘god’ to take away the life of his constituency nemesis.
Luzzi’s childish and kiddish conduct over Zaake’s torture angered Mityana locals. They awaited the NRM party primaries to teach this political amateur a lesson. Luzzi miserably lost the party polls and he has since run away from the constituency. Sources say he was tamed by Mao who offered him political space in the DP.

“I am a special candidate in this country, I am not a political prostitute and I have been in the NRM two weeks ago but now I have joined DP because I have admired it secretly for some time,” Luzzi said on STV this morning. On Zaake’s torture case which he earlier celebrated, Luzzi says, “I have never said anything like Hon Zaake Should die, first of all, I am a Muganda man I can’t say something like that maybe those who heard me say so were dreaming.”
