Despite not releasing much music in recent months, singer and producer Zulitums says he doesn’t have much to prove to critics regarding the quality of his music.Zulitums’ music never lacks in terms of lyrical content and delivery. His melodies, flow, and the quality of his visuals always represent how much he invests in his craft. In recent months, his fans have yearned for more of his music to be released but he has only released two songs in the last 10 months. While speaking to Mbu, Zulitums noted that he takes his time and has worked on several music projects that only await the right time for release. He explained that the industry currently is a little polluted with several factors including the political climate that may hinder the consumption of good music. He therefore plans to wait until it feels right to drop more of his music projects and he hinted on plans of dropping a body of work, supposedly an EP, in the coming months. In another interview, Zulitums also maintained that he will always follow his own pace and plans and is not in competition with any artist and hence doesn’t feel the pressure to release music.I am expressing myself through my art, not competing with others. With fame, a strong following, and impressive numbers, what more could I possibly be chasing?
