A fire has just ravaged the warehouse of Vitafoam mattress company in Njeru. The cause is yet to be known but sources say it could have sparked from an electric short circuit in the warehouse. Properties worth millions have been reduced to ashes and by the time of filing this report, police had just arrived at the scene. The vitafoam factory has been in existence in Uganda since 1975 when it was established.
