The Government chief whip and Kiboga woman MP, Ruth Nankabirwa has laughed at the heavily expectant opposition politicians who think Museveni can hand over power in 2021 before having a ‘sip’ of his oil.

EXCLUSIVE: Oil pipeline route limited to Museveni stronghold districts
Addressing her supporters in Kiboga where she’s seeking a fifth reelection, Nankabirwa urged the opposition to surrender to Museveni and give him space to enjoy the fruits of his oil. “You think the son of Amos Kaguta can easily let you take over his oil?,” Nankabirwa asked. “We have built airports and tarmacked roads in Bunyoro and you think we can easily allow you take over this country?,” she further added.
Nankabirwa also lauds the son of Amos, Gen. Yoweri Museveni for ‘risking’ his life to travel to a covid infested Tanzania just to append his signature to the oil pipeline Memorandum of Understanding with president John Pombe Magufuli. It should be noted that during the recent women’s day celebrations, Nankabirwa shocked Christians when she likened Museveni to Jesus Christ as he alleged that he is the heaven sent liberator to this country.
We earlier in our exclusive reported that the oil pipeline project was only limited to what Museveni thinks are his stronghold districts. The motive of this is an assumption that if the pipeline route is limited to pro-NRM districts, there may not be any shift of the oil power to the new government in case Kyagulanyi takes over. Museveni believes ‘his oil’ is safer when the pipeline route only in the districts where he garners the most votes.
