President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has urged countries involved in the escalating conflict in the Arabian Peninsula to embrace dialogue and negotiations to prevent the crisis from plunging the world into deeper instability.

Museveni, who also serves as Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), made the appeal during an iftar dinner hosted by the government for Muslim leaders and faithful at State House Entebbe.

The President said the ongoing confrontation between the United States, Israel, and Iran had already triggered serious global concern, including suspension of flights and evacuation of citizens by several countries.

According to Museveni, the conflict escalated after the United States and Israel launched military strikes against Iran, destroying several Iranian installations and resulting in the reported death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Iran later retaliated by declaring war on several US allies in the region, including Israel, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Qatar, and has in recent weeks launched missile attacks targeting American positions in those countries.

Museveni warned that the continued hostilities could destabilize international relations and disrupt global economic systems if not urgently resolved.

“As Chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement, I have already advised the leaders involved in the conflict to stop and use dialogue,” Museveni said.

He added that Uganda maintains friendly relations with all the countries involved in the dispute and would continue encouraging peaceful negotiations.

“These countries are all friends of Uganda. That is why we continue advising them to use the negotiating process to end the conflict,” he said.

The President also noted that one of the challenges in mediating such conflicts is that each side believes it is justified in its actions.

During the same event, Speaker of Parliament Anita Annet Among thanked Museveni in his capacity as National Chairman of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) for encouraging her and Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa to continue leading Parliament.

Among said the support from the party leadership had strengthened the resolve of parliamentary leaders to continue serving the country.

Let’s be honest: TikTok has become the unofficial talent scout of the modern music industry. A catchy hook and a trending dance can launch careers overnight. Alien Skin has clearly mastered the formula, using the platform to amplify his music and cultivate a passionate fan base.

But to Mulo, that strategy feels less like artistry and more like algorithm worship.

He argues that Alien Skin’s dominance online is more about screen time than studio time, a criticism that echoes a larger debate in the digital era: does virality equal musical credibility?

If the verbal jabs weren’t enough, the feud has now stepped out of the studio and into the ring, literally.

Yung Mulo has challenged Alien Skin to a boxing match, promising to “discipline” the Fangone Forest boss over what he claims is a pattern of disrespect toward others in the industry.

In other words, this beef may soon require more gloves than microphones.

For now, fans are doing what fans do best: debating, defending, and flooding comment sections like it’s a national sport.

Some argue that Alien Skin’s grassroots rise proves he’s exactly the kind of artist the streets love; unfiltered, viral, and impossible to ignore. Others side with Mulo, insisting that true musicianship can’t be measured by TikTok trends alone.

An armed thug targeting a mobile money operator in Bugolobi was forced to abandon his gun and flee after boda boda riders and police foiled his robbery mission.

The suspect had hidden a gun inside a polythene bag as he attempted to carry out the robbery.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire, the criminal escaped on a motorcycle after the plan failed.

But his escape was short lived.

Alert boda boda riders immediately chased the suspect and alerted police patrol teams stationed along Old Port Bell Road.

As police officers closed in, the suspect panicked and dumped the gun before disappearing.

The weapon, loaded with four rounds of ammunition, was later recovered near the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Police crime scene experts examined the area and took the gun as evidence.

Security agencies have now launched a hunt for the suspect and the motorcycle used in the failed robbery.
