Eintracht Frankfurt have lost only one of their last 11 Bundesliga matches. Cologne finished last season without a win in ten league games and have lost all three fixtures this term. Both teams have scored in each of Frankfurt’s last seven league encounters.
Frankfurt left it late to secure their Bundesliga status last season but they finished the season with a rattle and have continued the new campaign in similar vein.
Frankfurt lost only one of their final eight games last term, winning on five occasions, and they have claimed seven points from their first three fixtures this season.
Adi Hutter may have been disappointed by a 1-1 draw at home to newly-promoted Arminia Bielfeld in their opening tussle, but the wins over Hertha Berlin (3-1) and Hoffenheim (2-1) that have followed suggest any European qualification aspirations are realistic ones.
The front three of Bas Dost, Andre Silva and Daichi Kamada is causing serious problems for opposition and they will fancy their chances of outscoring a troubled Cologne.
Cologne limped to a 14th-placed finish last season after failing to win any of their final ten games and three defeats from three this term suggests their struggles have continued.
Cologne have shipped three in home defeats to Hoffenheim and Borussia Monchengladbach and those defensive frailties are sure to be exposed by a free-flowing Frankfurt.

Schalke’s 8-0 humiliation at champions Bayern Munich on the opening day of the season hinted that bad things could be to come and that is how things have proved so far Manuel Baum’s men.
On the back of that dismantling, Schalke have shipped seven more goals in defeats to Werder Bremen (3-1) and Leipzig (4-0) and already relegation talk is being muttered around the Veltins Arena.
The Miners failed to win any of their final 16 games last season and it is difficult to see their fortunes change any time soon.
Given the lack of belief and the fact they have managed only a measly eight goals in their last 19 Bundesliga matches, they are easy enough to oppose against a Union Berlin outfit full of confidence.
The visitors thumped Mainz 4-0 prior to the international break, which came on the back of a highly-respected 1-1 draw at Borussia Monchengladbach.
