Sassuolo are still unbeaten, could temporarily go top of the Serie A table and have some important players back against Udinese.
The Neroverdi caused another upset last week by beating Napoli 2-0 despite missing Domenico Berardi, Francesco Caputo and Filip Djuricic, practically their entire first choice front three.
Berardi and Caputo should return, making them an even stronger prospect against an Udinese side that sit in penultimate place.
Udinese are coming off a spirited 2-1 loss at home to Milan, a game that saw them concede a late Zlatan Ibrahimovic goal, one that won the Rosseneri the game.
Udinese could lose six of the first seven Serie A games for the first time since 1961-62.
