However, his daughter Maryann Musangi has managed to steer clear from the public despite being in charge of her father’s prized asset, Haco Industries.”MaryAnne is exceptional. I was confused when I saw him. However, by the end of our conversation, my mind was made up and I hired him there and then,” he recalled.Mwau’s story best captures Kirubi’s way of doing business. He prides himself in investing in young people who are hungry and willing to go the extra mile to succeed.Kirubi’s son, Robert is based in Brussels where he works at DHL, and going by his father’s description, he seems to have secured himself a top job.”He is doing so well out there that each time I have offered him a job here, he always says that the earnings are a joke,” he said, with the aura of a father whose children are leaving their mark on the world, in their own way.Kirubi’s story is one of hardwork and sacrifice as he puts it, having had to learn to look after his sibling from, a very young age, after they lost both their parents.
