Mirema Shooting: Victim’s Wife Reveals Secret Life of Husband

The wife of the man who was gunned down in broad daylight along Mirema Drive in the Kasarani area by an unknown assailant, has revealed that her husband lived an extremely reclusive lifestyle, that she did not know the kind of business he was doing in their 17 years of marriage. 
The widow told the media that her husband would get agitated every time she tried to dig into the matter and probe his dealings. 
This made her get suspicious at first, but she would opt not to probe further.

Kenyans.co.ke Police officers based in Kasarani had intimated to the press that the 40-year-old father of three was in possession of five motor vehicles. Alluding to this, the victim’s wife noted that she only saw two of the vehicles being driven by women unknown to her.
The victim’s brother also told the police that he had not met with the deceased for seven years. 
According to detectives, the victim, who was shot six times, could have been part of a gang swindling money from unsuspecting revelers after drugging them.
This is after four people, whose Identity cards and wallets were recovered from the victim, recorded statements and stated that they were stupefied and robbed of their belongings. Detectives aware of the matter suspect that the man ran a ring of girls who stupefied victims.
Some of the victims divulged to the media that they lost a sum of Ksh200,000 after being drugged in an entertainment joint.
Further, detectives uncovered that the vehicle which the victim was driving at the time of his demise, had a fake number plate. The vehicle belongs to someone who is in Kajiado and had registered in the name of the wife.
Police noted that investigations are still ongoing to help apprehend the perpetrators and unravel the motive of the murder. 
A past CCTV footage captured a man in a cap and a coat approaching the deceased’s vehicle and pulling out what appeared to be a pistol before opening fire multiple times. 
A woman across the road is seen running for her dear life as gunshots rent the air. The suspect then heads towards a vehicle that had blocked the road and takes off.
