Papa Bakary Gassama will be the center referee
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed match officials that will handle the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers group B game between Uganda Cranes and Burkina Faso.
Uganda Cranes will play host to Burkina Faso in the return leg of the qualifiers scheduled for 24th March, 2021 at St.Mary’s Stadium, Kitende. The first leg ended goalless at Stade du 4 Aout – Ouagadougou.
Papa Bakary Gassama (Gambia) will officiate the duel, assisted by countrymates Abdul Aziz Bollel Jawo and Solayman Sosseh as the first and second assistant referees respectively.
Maudo Jallow, also from Gambia, will be the fourth official while Jean Didier Masamba Malunga from Democratic Republic of Congo will be the match commissioner.
Ugandan James Ssekajugo has also been appointed as the Covid-19 regulations officer for the game.
Uganda currently sits in the second position in group B with 7 points from four games, a point shy of table leaders Burkina Faso. Malawi sits in the 3rd (4 points) while South Sudan has 3 points at the bottom.
