KAMPALA– The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda The Most Rev Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu has commended the Management and Staff of Equity Bank for supporting the Church sustainability Agenda which has brought about development.
The Archbishop made the remarks on Wednesday November 16th 2022, while during a visit at Equity Bank Lira Branch where he joined the staff led by the Equity Bank Chief Executive Officer Dr James Mwangi for prayers.
The Archbishop who was accompanied by the Bishop of Lango Diocese Rt Rev Prof Alfred Olwa said that Equity Bank has supportive to the church and helped the in the struggle for self sustainability and encouraged the staff to continue working selflessly with intergrity and passion.
Dr Mwangi thanked the Archbishop for putting aside his busy schedule to congregate with the Equity Bank staff and pledged for more collaboration in supporting the Church of Uganda development activities.
Earlier the Archbishop commissioned St Barnabas Dokolo Archdeaconry Church of Uganda which was constructed by Lawrence and Alfred, twin brothers to Hon Cecilia Ogwal where hundreds of Christians gave their souls to Jesus Christ.

Archbishop Kaziimba Mugalu also had a fruitful Ministry at Orum Archdeaconry in Otuke District where he laid a foundation stone for the construction of the Archdeacon’s residential house and later led a Holy Communion Service.
