promoter Bajjo has been suspended from his position from the Uganda Promoters
Association where he held the position of national coordinator. This was after he insulted the state minister
for microfinance, Haruna Kasolo over the delay of the promoters’ ‘emyooga’ fund.
He apologized
in the presence of other members of the association that included Abitex and
Balaam Barugahara, Luba Events and Emma Serugo.
First,
Balaam apologized to the minister for Bajjo’s conduct and to Gen. Salim Saleh
and Gen. Elly Kayanja who are in the association’s ranks. Abitex too apologized
saying as much as they are on different sides of the political divide, he would
never attack Bajjo.
Bajjo apologized:
“I am here to apologize to you minister Haruna Kasolo. I rushed to comment because
I speak for many other promoters who aren’t happy. I am like their radio. But I
have been informed you are working hard to see to it that we receive our money.
I request you to forgive me, for the muslim you are.”
