NEWS- The Director of Father’s Heart Mobility Ministry Mr. Francis Mugwanya has called upon the government to ensure inclusive services near to where people living with disabilities are.
Mugwanya said this on 6th Sept 2022 while at the assembling of wheel chairs for PWDs at Pentecostal Assemblies of God (PAG) Muhanga in Rukiga district.
Over 165 wheelchair and crutches both for people with special needs donated by Father’s Heart Mobility Ministry in conjunction with The Rukiga County Member of Parliament Hon Roland Ndyomugyenyi Bish and Hon Kamusiime Caroline Muhwezi the 1st Vice President of the Pan African Parliament Women caucus bureau will be distributed to disabled people of Rukiga District on Thursday and Friday this week.
In an exclusive interview with our reporter, Mugwanya said that the government should consider extending reliable services to people living with disabilities like health and education.
He further encouraged PWDs themselves to avoid despising themselves but rather join Schools and developmental groups where they can learn and change their lives.
Giving himself as an example, Mugwanya said that if it wasn’t because of his parents, he won’t be doing what he is doing thus encouraging Parents and caretakers to ensure that young people living with disabilities get education plus other necessary services.

Father’s Heart Ministry is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) thay started operating in Uganda in 2006 helping people with disabilities who need mobility (wheelchair and crutches) with its Headquarters in Gaba, a Kampala suburb.
Father’s Heart Ministry has so far managed to extend help to disabled people from all over 95 districts of in Uganda including Kisoro, Rubanda, Kabale, Kanungu, Rukungiri, Ntungamo, Kamwenge, Kiruhura, Sheema, Isingiro among others.
