Opposition Forum for Democratic Change has set up a desk to receive complaints on kidnapped or missing Ugandans at the hands of security forces.
“The FDC is concerned about the many Ugandans who are being kidnapped by state operatives,” said the deputy secretary general Harold Kaija.
“The party has therefore set up a complaints desk at our headquarters Najjanankumbi,” Kaija told press on Monday.
So whoever has any missing person should report to our complaints’ desk, he noted.
“The FDC legal team has volunteered to provide legal Aid to all missing persons and will follow up on all cases.”
On the same day, Bobi Wine released a list of 243 Ugandans who he claims have been kidnapped and are missing.
He said most of them are members of his National Unity Platform.
Internal Affairs minister Gen Jeje Odongo said those missing are actually under custody for various crimes save for a few.
