Fire has broken out at Mbarara Secondary School in Kakoba division Mbarara city destroying students’ property.
According to police, students’ books, mattresses and beddings were burnt to ashes in a Friday morning fire.
The fire started from Nyerere House which houses about 78 Senior One and Senior Two students.
The cause of the Friday morning fire is not yet known.
The police fire brigade deployed to the school and managed to extinguish the fire.
