NEWS– The former strong member of the Forum for Democratic Change and now the serving Rukungiri district Deputy Resident District Commissioner Tumuhimbise Wilberforce Ongwom has called up on all opposition members to join the ruling party National Resistance Movement.
Ongwom’s call was made on Saturday 30th April 2022 while speaking at the 48th birthday celebrations of Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba the function that was held in Rukungiri main stadium.
Wilberforce Ongwom who before was a diehard of the Forum for Democratic Change revealed that the years he spent in opposition didn’t profit him at all and therefore other people who have not benefited from opposition should immediately cease being their members.
“When you run a business for 10 years and it doesn’t benefit you, change and start a new one that can benefit you”, Ongwom added.
It should be remembered that Wilberforce Ongwom who is a panelist of a famous political talk show onna certain radio station had won the hearts of many people due to the facts he unearthed during his submissions.
It should further be noted that Wilberforce Ongwom an opposition strong supporter was from nowhere appointed by President Museveni as a Deputy RDC in Mbarara shortly before he was transferred to Rukungiri the move that surprised many.
